Situated 45 minutes east of Orlando is NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, the only place on Earth where you can tour launch areas, meet an Astronaut, see giant rockets, train in spaceflight simulators, and, if you're lucky, view a real rocket launch. Drawing in crowds of over 2 million people per year, KSC is the launch site of every historic manned US space flight from Mercury to the Space Shuttle, not to mention countless unmanned rocket launches. An absolute "must see". |
